Technical Proficiencies

• Industrial and Enterprise IT Experience – Total 30 years IT experience, with the past 20 years specifically in industrial OT, working in upstream gas plants, downstream chemical refineries and deepwater offshore production facilities. Focused on end point security and hardening, network monitoring solutions, working with PCD networks, DCS control systems, SCADA systems and security for the Process Control Domain as well as the numerous applications and software systems used in the PCN. Extensive experience with industrial control system protocols, network traffic flow and end point hardening of the various automation control system vendors.
• IT Network and Infrastructure Management; Server Administration, Application Integration, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Virtualization and related IT technologies.
• Network, Router and Firewall Management with Cisco and Fortinet products, specifically with process control networks onshore and offshore.
• IT Project Management; Estimating, proposals, cost controls, and scheduling, including FEED studies for office domain projects and gas plants.
• Industrial and Enterprise IT Security: Extensive experience with ISA 99 and IEC62443 standards focused on process control network and Windows endpoint security, and including ISO27001. Extensive field experience conducting security assessments and implementing remediation strategies.
• Enterprise IT Corporate Experience – Prior to transition to OT gained extensive experience administering Office Domain technologies for major oil and gas corporations including virtualized server environments and corporate Active Directory administration specifically with security and administration of GPOs . Strong focus on application support, troubleshooting and deployment strategies for global corporate environments
• Disaster Recovery – Backup / Recovery strategies ranging from single servers to complete facilities both Enterprise and Industrial / Process Control.
• Focused on agile technical solutions that are aligned with specific client needs.
